It's been awesome to see his rise in prominence in the scene. I've talked with him through the years, it's really inspirational to see how he's risen from basically an amateur making tunes for fun into one of the big boys. IMO he's one of the most innovative tech producers these days with Big Bill.
New one really has shades of some of his older, more wild tunes like Dopamine and his remix of Jamie Walker's Mind Games.

Love that bassline in the build-up, has some ~05 vibes to it. It has some nice energy too. However, later on the track is just not that energetic. Sorry, for a tech-trance track, that is kind of a requirement.

Seems like a quite talanted producer but why o why does he make so much of this hillbilly wonky trance style atkinson promoting? cant take it seriously. This tune is decent bur hes using tio much conplextro oscillating stuff for me

microgravity wasnt bad though.

lol, Hillbilly wonky trance 😅

I don't thinks meant to be taken seriously, its meant to go nuts on in a warehouse. Its one thing I like about Matts centipede production approach. The man can comfortably switch between vocal dream lounge, to atmospheric progressive, to quality uplifting, to "and now its 3 a.m. and i'm drunk" style.

I think if you have been to club nights with this kind of Trance you can relate to what its purpose is and 'get it', especially when the drugs are involved. Every sound feels like its ripping through you, very twisted too... and with combination of the lights and energy of the crowd it can be quite a hedonistic experience. 18-22 year old me would be all over this tbh. Kinda liking this one too actually, but wish toned down all the go-spastic FX and tried bit more serious approach. Production elements all sound so nice though, don't they? Kick is great.

Will Atkinson.

I can def see this kind of tech being polarizing but I'm all about it - he has some more serious proper heads down tech on his album, but this is not one to be taken seriously. It's all goofy energy (yes, especially when all the drugs are involved heh)

He is indeed. For one thing his mixing and mastering skills are superb and his tracks have a crystal clear sound. This one is a quirky mish mash of ideas.
man has given me some great pointers/ tutorials in that field. great chap.

He really grown up. I originally started following him because of his progressive releases on Portrait digital.

Such a crazy track, at first I was not sure, but after a few more listens I started to like it :)
