Original Mix

Remixes:

One of my top 5 tracks...

Super 8 Remix

Super8 as always being one of the most iconic sounds of Anjunabeats (despite being a Somatic Sense release).
Love that sidechain, jesus...

Carl B below...

Hey @BS_BlackScout

For this section of the forum we have some rules on posting. One of them is to always post the Original mix when creating a thread with a remix, with the thread title leading with the Original mix and remixes too. For this instance, this thread title should be.

Hiver & Hammer - Fusion (Incl. Super8 Remix) [2006]

You'd then post the original and any remixes you want to discuss in the first post. This helps us keep a more organised and easily searchable section. No big deal though, I have made the changes for now. You can find the section rules here

p.s great track, love Hiver & Hammer, good choice.

Seriously? I thought the Super8 mix took all the magic away and provides no emotion at all. He just killed the track. All the other mixes are good though my favorite being the original and Carl B mixes.

No offense taken mate. Only always ever felt that Miikka Eloranta kinda of added a very "Anjuna/Pleldgeresque" feel that doesn't suit the track at all in my view. Those acidic sounds used and the way he turned what was an euphoric and heart touching melody into something more clubby never did it for me and doesn't bring justice to the original. Still a great fan of most of his works but I'll pass on this one.

Here's a little info on this one that I added on the upload:

This classic track from Pierre Hiver & M.Hammer was first heard back in 2002 on Blank & Jones 'The Mix' compilation where they went under the name Andromeda....Four years on (two years after it also featured on their 'Substance' album) Fusion finally got it's official release along with a number of remixes from the likes of Carl B, Super 8 and others.
