Another fantastic track from Nath Stealy aka @EnigmaState - this time produced entirely on the Atari 1040 STE with Cubase 3!

Enigma State - New Original [Atari Trancer]

Drums :
AKAI S3000XL, Novation Drumstation, Behringer RD-9

Bass :
Behringer MS-1

Pads :
Roland SH-201

Lead :
Yamaha AN1X
Roland JP8080

Effects :
Alesis Quadraverb
Boss SE-50
Behringer Multi FX (X2442 Mixer)

What an amazing breakdown \o/ \o/ \o/

Sounds like 2003-2006 Somatic Sense, or Fenology stuff to me 😍

Would have love to hear more of that intro throughout the track it felt really nice and remove the slightly noisy synths

Those cymbals and lead are just perfect. This is more like it on the ears.

I guess maybe you also need to take into consideration that this was recorded simply through his mobile phone, so the noisy synths etc might not be true to what you hear in the finished track. The dip in volume level after the break is also down to how this was recorded...but it does sound very promising IMO...even if I may be slightly biased 😊

Yeah as Daz said it's just how it's recorded as it's just done direct on the phone. I didn't want to put the full audio quality on YouTube due to how much of the track I played back.
It was also recorded live and direct, there's still a whole load of engineering to do too yet 😊
It's a totally different dynamic producing on the Atari because all the things you would do during the track, you have to do at the end when it's all recorded.

I can't imagine myself producing on such software and hardware, must be quite the challenge. Sounds great too! Awesome stuff.
It is challenging in its own way. When I compare to the latest version of Cubase its not all that disimilar so it has a "familiar feel". The challenging part is just getting all the MIDI in.

For real..., need to know as well, amazing track!
Most important thing, the track get's finished(?) and released :)

Yes it will be finished and released. I wont put all the hours in to an old DAW for not to be released ha.
At the moment im still working on getting a few tracks ready for a release so it'll be a wait just yet. As some know I do like to tease things im working on in the studio via my YouTube channel :)
