Haha this one :p If i heard this song when i was 15 then for sure it would be my favourite song.

Obviously will not listen it to pieces but it gave me some nostalgic feelings listening to it eventhough its a new song.

Paradisio - Bailando

I'm embarrassed .... :D
Wait, that's lit. It sounds like the kind of thing that would have been huge in Latin America in the late 90s.
I wonder what was the motivation behind this track. Spanish in electronic dance music then was rare unless you were one of those groups that tried to integrate electronic music with regular Latin American music, ex. Proyecto Uno with merengue and techno/house in the early '90s.
Never mind that Paradisio is Belgian. They must have seen an opportunity to reach an audience few had attempted to reach before.

Latin language in dance wasnt that special. In western-Europe at least. This Bailando track is from 1997.

The same era with tracks like Macarena, Samba de Janeiro, Miranda-Vamos a la Playa, Sash-Equador.

Sounds just like a typical 90’s eurodance hit. A nice track nevertheless.

An actual "guilty pleasure:"

The lyrics (in Spanish) are trashy and on the same level as the video itself, but it's lit. I will never play this song out loud - headphones only, it is!

I mean, yeah, there were a few hits but they were just not as ubiquitous as English-language songs. At their core, the instrumentals are typical '90s eurodance hits.
That Samba de Janeiro track is straight-up fire, btw.

Duude so I accidentally put the retro station on the radio. I then started hearing this strange, suspiciously '90s-sounding track with the iconic piano and the synths that reminded me of Jones and Stephenson - The First Rebirth.
It was Bailando...

The Weeknd - Blinding Lights
I blast that out loud.

Avril Lavigne's "What the Hell" (2011) "So what if I go out on a million dates?" is an actual line from "What the Hell." I'm in love.

I know many simply don't like his songs, but man if he always creates such incredible melodies + always picks talented singers + the music videos are always perfect
