After a while a new MIKE Push track on FSOE. This time its not an uplifting track, but rather slower and deeper journey. Still very melodic.
Well, this is definitely the right way, I would rather expect this type of tracks under his Push guise, deeper but melodic. Not sure why he decided to releases this as MIKE Push on FSOE. Seems like there are no rules and themes for his aliases, you cant predict or expect anything from his aliases, its just random...but this one is GOOD 7,5/10

This one is pretty solid, yeah. Maybe missing something a bit more climactic for me, but otherwise I like it

Prefer this than his usual dribble of tech and recent fsoe releases too. Builds ok but relies heavily on the pads which were ok but needs something else. Feels half done/cut.
Deep mood /kick /base combo is ok but feels like minimal exploration in that area.

I like the dark atmosphere in the track, but it seems to me that the track did not have enough continuation at the end it ends very messily

The "melody" in build is instant turnoff for me. It's seems so pinky plonky haha. So amateuristic and random notes/chords.

His old tunes always had some maturity to them. His new stuff just feels off and forced

It is a bit ice cream van-ish. Couldve been more subtle, its too loud imo. I do like the rest of the track though, those big pads create a nice atmosphere. I wanted another sub melody to finish the climax off though - he used to be a master at that. Instead the tracks ends on a whimper.

Agree with Mag. Really like the breakdown and big pads. Build up synth I dont like and track doesnt progress into something meaningful. Like the atmosphere overal sound.

Maybe it's my melodically untrained ears or my shitty laptop speakers, but something about the "classic, melancholic" melody starting 58 seconds in feels cacophonous, and NOT in a good way (ex. unlike Fictivision vs. Phynn - Escape). With this track M.I.K.E. probably tried to break the rules of music, but this song was a complete miss. It just doesn't feel good to listen to, and frankly it turned me off from listening past 2:30 minutes.

Was kinda getting tired of Mike's recent uplifting stuff but diggin' the slower dark/prog trance approach he can properly showcase his old sounds with this bpm i reckon this is just a beginning/demo of what to expect from Mike in 2023.
