Hello, back again with first tune of the year 2023 for my label (a 130bpm trance tune for those who wonder).

Big news is that it will be BandCamp exclusive before it will hit the usual Beatport/Spotify places. This will be an option that I will offer to anyone who wants to submit their demos, in the future.

Extended Version - Bandcamp link 👇:

As always, I'm expecting any sort of feedback here, hopefully you'll like this track and support it by following me on Bandcamp+purchasing the track there.

I mean, I don't mind seeing some support on Beatport of course but I simply don't trust that shop anymore for long time and prefer having a more genuine direct contact with people (which is something I won't be able to manage on Beatport/Spotify ) who really like and purchase my music.

And I could see any sort of reaction or constructive feedback in there, which, again, I won't be able to on Beatport/Spotify. 👋

Nice, load of elements going on here. Little acid touches were nice too. Some elements come across loud for me in parts, at the higher end. Would have liked to have the base more prominent if I'm being picky. Overall though enjoyed it.

I think this would be quite good/better if either the mixdown or/both master were better or cleaner and more balanced. I think the vol levels for different elements and the balance of it all feels off. Theres a low sort of quality to the synths (they just feel distant and non-defined to me) and theres a disturbing messy layering/noisy wall of sound when all the channels running at the same time. Also I think the musical quality is not up to snuff. It just isnt strong enough musically or structurally. Its a little bland overall sorry to say. Like a lack of direction to the music. Its a bit hard for me to get a grip of what the music trying to do here. The kick is also not to my liking here, its just bland and without any charachter.

But theres still some positives here and there like the acid, some cool fx and textures that feels like more authentic no-nonsense trance. I think if you had some stronger musical identity to your tunes, cleaned them up a bit and practice more effectice or/and meaningful ways to express your musical visions it would be better. I like the vibe you got but you need to spice it up musically, with a bit more variation in the arrangement both rhytmically and melodically.

Nice one!
Reminds me of some of Timewaves work but slowed down a bit. Nice track.

Thank you guys!!
@MDD : that's probably the result of (maybe too much?) overlayering sounds that kept the mid/mid-high freqs very busy and maybe bit saturated at certain point? Something I was not probably checking in first place since I was more focus in giving the track the right character, at least for me.

Cheers, always appreciate your feedback.
certainly, something could and must be improved regarding song writing in first place. I might have been caught too much into writing more mid-mid high sounds that I may have "lost" the plot some how re: "distant" synths and "messy layering".
But these kind of feedback are important as it would help me figuring out what should I change when sitting in front of the pc and choosing where to go with one sound, what things should I work on first, what comes next etc etc. I appreciate the positive parts you've mentioned, but I will work hard to make my tracks standing out not just for a few FFXs or acid lines but for their full structure.

Melodies/harmonies will still remain subjective so I won't be bothered on that side as far as I do feel the right positive vibes when re-listening to my own tracks.
