I've been a fan of trance for 20 years. Any chance I have to include trance music in any of my projects, I love to do it.

I present my new series below called Sights & Sounds. I go on bike rides and enhance the visual experience while having a trance (or progressive) song playing in the background.

Would love to get your guys feedback on it.

Sights & Sounds 001 - 5 Seconds Before Sunrise (DeeSaxx Edit)

Sights & Sounds 002 - Just A Thought (Allende Revisit)

Sights & Sounds 003 - Summer Time (SoundLift Remix)

Sights & Sounds 004 - Ad Lib (SoundLift Remix)

Gotta say I love the concept m8. also great after effects/premiere skills there. i do a bit of video editing with (trance) music at the background myself but not to that extend, thumbs up. Lovely concept.

Thanks @jetflag for the feedback!
I actually use Sony Vegas for my video editing. What sort of stuff do you do with trance music in the background?

If you have a chance, check out the other videos on my channel as well. I have another series I started called "Spokes, Jokes & Anecdotes" in which I talk about topics that are important to me while I ride my bike. The first episode was about the topic of Motivation:

Thats pretty cool. I would prefer it without the text though/scoring though, and just focus on the beautiful nature and music. How you make the camera so smooth?

@Exodom Thanks for the feedback!

I use the Insta360 One R camera. I also sped up the video a bit while editing to match the length of the song.
I had a few friends ask me how I was able to get the great video and the great audio (in my "Spokes, Jokes & Anecdotes" video), so I was thinking I may do a video soon where I explain the equipment I used to create the video. Might explain the filters I used in post-production as well. Make sure to subscribe for when I eventually make that video :)

Would love to know what you think of the next episode in the series.

This time around, I used a song from one of my favorite Trance artists, Allende. His remix of Carl B - "Just A Thought".

Again, just like the first, was just trying to do something somewhat visually creative. I'm not a master video editor, but I am learning small things along the way.

Here it is:

loving the cartoon effect, though I would recommend keeping the texst to a minimum in the beginning though. great song pick also!

im currently quarantined for a week so hopefully this should give me some time to finish my latest. Would love your feedback on that.

I'm quite excited to post about Sights & Sounds 003. My uncle is a music producer, but he made his music with synths back in the 80s and 90s. I have 3 albums of his on my computer. No one really knows about his music as it was never released, but I always loved it.

I talked with SoundLift who I've known online for quite some time now. After some discussion, we made a deal to help each other out. He remixed two of my uncle's songs. Here is the first: "Summer Time". In this case, because this song has never been heard before, I'd be curious to hear feedback on the song more than the video in this case :)

That's cool to hear :p

I just posted #4. Another SoundLift Remix of one of my uncles songs. I think after this one, I'll try a deep house song. Any suggestions? I'm looking for unique or up and coming talent.

You can try some of Johan vermeulen's old stuff, i usually listen to that when excersizing,

i was however going to suggest maybe doing a (small) dj mix of several tracks? I don't know how long you usually excersize but with me its often between one hour or 30 min's. perfect for a little mini mix.

but i don't know if your pc can pull that

Just heard both SoundLift remixes I loved them, very nice productions. They remind me of his old "Yerevan" album. I've always been a fan of his music and remember even voting for "Running Man - Amnesia (Soundlift's Emotional Take)" 8 years ago as a tune of the year...

Two of the best passions united. Cool stuff!
I agree as I also love cycling + listening to trance, so you've got a new subscriber to your channel. Great idea :)

Thanks a lot for subscribing! :)

I actually just put together a small little page on my website to list the episodes: SkineeLeggz

I tried to explain the concept in more detail in the first episode description here: SkineeLeggz
(Thinking maybe it should go on the list page somewhere instead)

But one thing you will see in the description is the mention of when I tried doing this concept years ago:

I could use some coloring/ist advice on this by the way @justindasilva

I would love to help, but I am in no way a technical guy when it comes to color in video editing. Heck, I'm either clicking around Sony Vegas just trying to find a cool effect, or I use an effect I've used before, but these are limited to very basic effects.

Just looking at the footage, I would say it could use more color. The best way to do that though is beyond me unfortunately o_O

Cool video though (y)
