Part of it made me think of the old Tilt tracks. Solid tune overall for me

Still no news about the track name, release date, or even label ... I play it a few times a week, it's a fantastic record

I have to say the remix is a grower. Been listening to it a couple more times since my initial comment and I'm discovering more elements that I like. Hearing it on a great pair of cans helps though it must be said.

Theres def things to like about it, its just a bit underwhelming. I cant figure out what could've made it better right now. Personally i think it sounds better on speakers because the bloated bass doesnt feel as bloated , although some of their other tracks also has that more boomy bass. I also tend to like their 140 stuff the best.

My top 5 tracks from them:

John Dopping - Aryl (M&M Remix)
Xiphos (cold be replaced by HCTS actually)
Raysa
Lansy K - Limb (M&M remix)
Menno de Jong - Any Other Day (M&M remix)

close after I'd put here comes the snd (original re edit)

I dont rate yoruba and panama remix as high tbh even if they're good, but not top tier for me. So for me a factor is def the tempo and drive of their best work. they feel more dense and fluid for me.

HCTS (Tech Mix), Xiphos and Raysa (Intro Mix) are my top 3, with Yoruba and Madagascar remix closing the top 5. I tend to agree that their sound works best at uptempo, but they also have some fantastic slower tracks, like the Deep remix of Icewall.

Nevertheless, I think it speaks volume to the overall quality of the productions when even less appreciated tracks are better records, both from a musical and quality perspective, then the vast majority of other, bigger names in the scene.

Well its a bit shame that they used such a good oldschool sound, but the main melody is already too overplayed for me after 5 listens and I think Im done with the track, its way too simple, notz so many ideas included in the track. After posting the preview i was about to give this at least 8 but the final mark would be rather 6,5/10
