Rambal Cochet - Catalyst Powder [Coqueto Records]

Tidy prog number. Has a lot to like.

    Coredata - Membrane [Borderline R&D]

Must have bought 20 tracks from him over the last 4 or 5 years. Can’t say that about any other artist from the regular Trance scene

Fader Cap - Blue Pool (EP) [Butter Sessions]

    Fuckkkkkk that’s so good
  4. Dreamless

The Digital Blonde & Deestopia - Analogic [Pure Trance]

Fuck these are some serious tunes

What criteria would you use to properly evaluate trance tunes?

What you have feels overly complicated. Keep it simple bro, no rating system has this many variables and formulas behind it. Music is not a machine with parts to dissect in a microscopic way. It’s cool to see a YouTube and discog rating in your spreadsheet, but these things are meaningless and...

    Andy Falconer - Transmissions

I thought I recognised the name. Founder of The Orb....but I never knew System 7 was also a project of his. This may be a rerelease but it's new to my ears and sounds dope as hell. No question I'll be picking this up when the next paycheck drops Shame the vinyl is sold out already, but will...

Classic Trance Database [100%] & Classic Trance Curated Database [10%] - Last updated on May 6th

Admiral work, well done. The first thought that came to my mind though was "why use this instead of discogs?". This is also a database will all the tracks, but with more detail, youtube links and other functionality. This is not to put a damper on what you have accomplished, I am just curious...

Julian Del Agranda - El Sueno / Mirage (remix) [Borderline]

Great job here. The remix of Mirage sounding the best.

Got 80% of my vote it just before I head out for nye adventures. Don’t suppose we will have time to add final ones in tomorrow?

    B from E - Amnesia [Haŵs]

Will pick this up. All sound good, but Amnesia is wicked.

Lone - Triton / Reverse Waterfall

Waterfall is good if you are in the mood for that kind of thing. Triton is lit, has so many good sounds used in it. Lone is phenomenal at producing music.

TranceFix Best of 2023 - VOTE OPEN! - Thoughts on this year?

How can you have so many? Yeh I found lots of good tracks this year, but over 100? Not even close.

SNCD04 - Welcome To Paradise EP [SNC Recs]

I wasn’t sure about the Bliss Inc one at first but it gets better as it goes on. The floaty synth is nice and the tribal drums too. Original dancey and good not as much going for it.

Rambal Cochet - Dolphin's Dance [Alzaya]

@rambalcochet is it a vinyl only release? I see a way to buy digital only on bandcamp but see mixed messages

TranceFix Best of 2023 - VOTE OPEN! - Thoughts on this year?

I found this website because of your past top 100. I actually had no idea there was so much nu-trance coming into the scene at the time and now I’m obsessed. I should have a mixed bag of votes this year. Maara and Rambal Cochet were the two best producers.

Maara - Hear Me Neigh (EP) [Kalahari Oyster Cult]

Tried Juicy a few times but it didn’t land. Don’t think this EP will be my jam. This one from her recently was better I feel, more flow and trance touches.
  18. Dreamless

Rambal Cochet - Temporal Aura [Crystal Ceremony]

Kitaro lands the best, but the other two sound good as well. Same agreement that he is a sick producer.

Norul & TDJ - Forgot Me Never [Self Release]

I am a big listener of Julian Muller so was surprised to see him post this as it’s one of his most trance and commercial sounding records I heard. I liked what I heard and think it might be something listeners of non underground music could enjoy too. It’s almost the best of both worlds.
