JOSEPH JAMES - Aurora Sky [Kearnage]

I would expect this sound on Tidy, but never mind! Good as a throwback tune in not so trendy style nowadays, but nothing else probably...

Jaron Inc. - Nothing To Lose & Overflow (Reworks) [High Contrast Recordings]

Just updated to a crappy plastic beat. Better not to have such reworks at all. I think some remix into different (sub)genre would be more appreciated maybe.

Nu NRG & Liam Wilson - Freefall [Armada Captivating]

Just a poorly sounding, lazy version, trying to get on some nostalgy wave.

Steve Allen - Sound Of Tomorrow [Tidy Two]

Cool to hear him in higly energetic waters of trance, nicely playing on the nostalgic UK hard trance note...

Technikal feat. Becci - Burning Up [Tidy Trax]

Sounds cheesy and a bit outdated, however it is nice, that this sound is still alive. Loving the highly energetic "curly-ness" of the melody.

F.G. Noise - Do It [High Voltage Recordings]

It is not something ultra-original, it is just a nice energetic/pumping track with kinda easy, but nice playful melody. So easy is meant in a good way in this case.

    Will Atkinson - Bamboozled [VII]

Kinda sounds like 2000s hard housey BK, or generally Tidy Trax or Nukleuz. Not too bad for me, however there are too many chaotic/not fitting samples, so there could be less.

Richard Durand & Driftmoon - Avalanche [Black Hole Recordings]

I don't know why, but it sounds strangely slow even if it has 138 bpm. Maybe those big room styled instruments and sounds do that.

Rozalla & Nicholson - Alive (Pierre Pienaar & P.H.A.T.T. Remix) [DistroKid]

Melody here is clearly inspired by Alphazone Remix of Ian van Dahl's Try, but I will make an exception here, I like it and I will take it as a homage to the old track.

    Paul Miller - Astralis [FSOE]

Way too similar to Exactly, but not better or not having any original sound or anything, that could make it more interesting. Will be forgotten soon.

Armin van Buuren & Martin Garrix feat. Libby Whitehouse - Sleepless Nights [Armada]

Dave202 - Generate The Wave inspired melody, but with that void-ly sounding bass-less Adagio/Serenity feel, which I do not like much. Vocals also kinda average.

    Renegade System - Ascension [Subculture]

Kinda late 00s/early 10s Tyas-ish melody, but not as good...

DuMonde feat. Shaun Baker - Dying Of The Light (Extended Mix) [ZYX Trance]

A bit cheesy and a bit anticlimatic, so a bit disappointing, but I like cheese from time to time, and this drop in the right place of a set could work. But I do not expect many big names will play this anyway.

    Similar trance tracks & rip-offs

The melody is different, but the formula, the "riff" and the sounds are quite obvious, that it is at least very inspired by Serenity. Both tracks are wannabe epic and "hard" with that sharp synth, and to me both sound kinda soul-less. Also 100% agreed with "...which is itself an attempt at...

    Kym Ayres & K-Series - Martha’s Harbour [Tidy Two]

Longer preview: Kym Ayres, K-Series - Martha's Harbour (Extended Mix) [Tidy Two] Kind of a typical Tidy/UK hard trancer. Is this a cover version of some older song?

Renegade System - Changes [Nocturnal Knights Fusion]

Pure destruction, loving that rumbling reverse bass. It is nice, that it has a melodic first drop and the second one is more "techy".

Indecent Noise - In Trance EP1 [CALAMITY]

Yeah, back to the 00's, with its more easy and straight-forward music. On & On sounds kinda Scooter-ish - but in quite a good way, it is just a nice cheesy euro track - maybe it could be a bit slower, 150 bpm is too much. For Ultima I would prefer more "curly" melody than this simple riff.

Hemstock & Mercurial Virus Vs D10 - Cronos [Hard Trance Europe]

It's more about those other two names I think, not the greatest melodic hard trance, but not the worst either. Definitelly not on the level of Renegade System or Scot Project.
