    Celtic/ Nordic Folk

This is very cool, the atmosphere is insane. Thanks for keeping this thread alive!

Checking in with all the Trance Producers on here...

My production journey is in a spot where I actively need to make time for it, but time can be made quite easily. As a hobbyist I only make music therapeutically, so I only spend time producing when I want an outlet these days. It certainly increases the quality, but it means my production mood...

    Astronobios - Ton 618 [GlobalSec]

Global Sect is actually a very prolific label with album and compilation releases semi-monthly, focusing on Ambient/ Psybient and Goa Trance. To anyone missing these sounds, I highly recommend checking them out! They have a rather large roster of artists. Personally, I like Arthur Pralaya's work...

Nurse Erica – Continuum EP [DALF Records]

Continuum is the most evocative for me.

    epic classic Trance mix

Lately I've been hugely into the raw 2005-era sound of epic Trance, so after a while of discovering such tracks I've decided to bundle my favourites into an emotional 4+ hour journey. Enjoy!

Catching Dreams - Angelica (Siren of my Soul)

Can't believe this hasn't been posted here yet. I'm absolutely obsessed with this track. There's so much space and passion in it, raw yet sensual. Absolute peak Trance imo.

Ovnimoon - Lost In My Mind EP [Forescape Digital]

Freedom Frequency is a trip and a half, one of my favourites this year so far. It takes its sweet time to set the mood, then keeps adding contrast and twists. A masterclass in storytelling!

Ivan G.M. - Jupiter's Aurora Borealis [WE LOVE TRANCE RECORDS]

A highly underrated producer! Especially his "Exoplanet Gliese 667 Cc" hits the spot for me

    Elevation - Blinding Truth [2007]

Both versions sound incredible to me, I love it when tracks have dynamic mid frequencies, especially when they become overwhelming or slightly overpowering from time to time. The mids are where the emotion is, something which seems to be forgotten mostly.

VA - Forum EP04 [Trancefix Recordings]

This is exactly how I feel. The Hobby Shop tracks have such a 2005 Somatic Sense energy I've been craving for. Papillon is super explorative and layered. Can't wait to hear more from Eletania and Hobby Shop! The last two tracks are good, but a bit on the clean side for me to listen to repeatedly.

Aerium & Krivi – Forever Playing

Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet. The depth and evolution are insane!

    Celtic/ Nordic Folk

This is quite a unique take, really like it a lot more than the original! Thanks for sharing.

    why are they leaving?

This motivated me to go through all of MK-S work and wow... Another highly underrated track from him, this is exactly my taste. The layering is excellent! Unique talent indeed.

Producers and labels using gen. AI

Yea I agree. I guess the underlying argument here is that AI can have a strongly variable impact on creative variety, depending on where in the process of music creation it is applied. Using AI to directly write tracks or elements of tracks absolutely leans towards the negative side imo. But...

Producers and labels using gen. AI

Artists in DSP recently released a plugin in open beta which uses AI prompts to generate plugins. https://artistsindsp.gumroad.com/l/amorph Thoughts? I feel like this may have potential for people looking to get creative with weird FX and I don't see it replacing high-tier and...

    Chris Metcalfe - Supernature [FSOE]

Looking forward to this one! Very dreamy indeed. His FSOE productions lately are definitely better than the ASOT ones.

Sunda - Be With Me (incl. Luke Terry Remix) [Yanada Recordings]

I gotta agree on Carl B after hearing the full (remix) track. Explorations specifically. And that gets me beyond excited, considering Carl B is one of my favourites. Those counter melodies... this will end up in my 2026 eoy mix for sure.
