Loved the George Winkworth / Subterranea releases back in the day, when UK trance led the scene. Having sold all my vinyl a few years back I had completely forgotten about most of them. This is a welcome reminder.

How about you just put Above & Beyond / Anjunabeats on "ignore" and don't bother listening to anything by them / on the label? Or are you so desperate for them to return to a sound that died on its arse 15 years ago that you can't not listen?

Don't think it sounds anything like Push. Weak melody for these guys too. Not one for me unfortunately.

The melody sounds exactly like Goosebumps by Bryan Kearney.

Everything about this is great apart from the instrument they chose to use to play the main melody (starts at 3.14). It sounds like something from some 70s sci-fi film / early Dr.Who. I cannot get on board with it at all.

Really makes you wonder who these tracks are made for. Can't imagine it will please Kearney fans, traditional trance-heads or a more mainstream audience.

Loved both of these at the time and played both repeatedly in the 25 years since. Have never noticed any similarity until you just pointed it out.

Great tune. 144 bpm though. I know Ben likes to play quite fast but it doesn't suit this tune at all.
