Your most loved and meaningful rock music tracks?

Probably my no1 or no2 rock track of all time. It can soothe me in hard times, especially as the lyrics are about dealing with mental anguish, but also it's a painfully nostalgic experience which can make me feel a whole host of emotions, both joy and loss at the same time. A strong sense of...

A Forest Called Mulu - Rain Dreamers (Mellow Trance Remix) [1997]

A Junkie XL alias and the only Trance track on the self titled downtempo/jungle/trip-hop album (which is so good). Love this track, it builds so nicely, has a lovely Robert Miles type piano and just feels atmospheric and driving (in a chill way). Listen to how nice the kick is.

OUT Adam Pits - A Recurring Nature [On Rotation]

Listened to this a few times now, its a great EP (album?), enjoyed pretty much all of it. Fungus Hunter my favourite but also Recurring Nature and Capitulation great too.

Alpha Tracks - Bye Bye Sky High [Blue Hour]

Haha yeah its druggy rave music for sure, probably sounds like chill-out if you've taken enough. Whats the name of this Trance? I saw Neo-trance thrown around before. Not my taste either. Tempo too fast, too simple with the melodies. They feel amateur in terms of track development and ideas.

    Dokho - The Journey [Anjunabeats]

Yep thats fine, section reads' Trance & Progressive' ;) Melodic part of Sisu is pretty nice, but generic feeling when it 'drops'. Percs are indeed robotic and boring. Dokho I like a lot more, has somewhat of a nice flow. Still a bit boring overall though yep

OUT Ferry Corsten & Leon Bolier Feat. NBLM - Trust You [Flashover]

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, as is tradition.

Woke culture and its effects on society

I can mirror some of the stuff Tuna is saying. I went to one of the most ‘liberal’ arts universities in the UK, in a very liberal town, we all came out just fine. It turned us into weed warriors not social justice warriors. We still all thought we could change the world, with big (left) ideas...

St. John vs. Locust - Mindcircles [2003]

All about the baseline and percs, just how pleasant they are, even if just simple. The kick is soft but no energy is lost. Melody is also great.

Dreamy & Daniel Kandi & Temple One - When You Saved My Life [Always Alive Recordings]

Just talking about Uplifting specifically @Propeller, not necessarily the whole scene. Uplifting seemed to suffer the worst from stagnation and production quality. And I’m not convinced there is loads of amazing Uplifting out there either, and that we are just missing it here. Where is it all?

    Saints & Sinners - Peace [1997]

Never gets old, every remix is a gem as well.

Jochen Miller - Lost Connection [2008]

I remember playing this a lot when it was released. Not really a Trance sound I am really coming back to though or craving today but was good for the time.
