Trancefix Radio EP 007 - Cause & Effect - Mixed by Katadunkass

Literally know 2-3 tracks AT MOST. This will be a brilliant listen for me.

Charlie Wilson's War (2007) Interesting, quirky characters, based on real events and makes fun a bit of the American bureaucracy. What's not to like? It's a bit funny, eventful and interesting throughout. A bit unexplored, yeah, but it sums up the events very well nonetheless. In this style...

    Latest purchases (non-music)

I guess I'm a little early but I'm seriously thinking about buying this bundle. Always wanted it, never had the money. Well, now I can afford the money, but I can't afford the time to enjoy this fully. Plus I have some other investments of higher priority, namely a good quality primary screen...

OUT William Byrne - Echo (incl. Hoopoe & Alan Banks Remixes) [Pure Trance]

Would agree. A pretty good track. Would fit straight into ASOT 2010. But I'm a bit over this style now.

OUT LostLegend - Unity (incl 'Magdelayana Chilled Remake' and 'Magnevi Remix') [LSTLGND]

Great mixes guys, I pretty much like all 4! Something to love about each one of them. Not a fan of the chants though, I think something more creative could've been done with them. Maybe it's because I've heard them already before, but it isn't deal-breaking for me.

    What's on your mind today?

Yeah yeah, no argument there. This was just for (my own) understanding and clarification, it's not all women. That isn't to say the issue is minimized or not as severe because of that detail.

    What's on your mind today?

Didn't the rule just delegate the power to individual states (so, for instance, in Cali you could have them, and in Arizona you could not)? Not sure if I read the news right.

Sansho The Bailiff (1954) A colleague recommended this. It's a typical Japanese movie of the era, with all its quirks and whatnot. It's a good movie though, but I feel it's one of those where you either have to: 1) really feel it, or 2) have a great cinematographic eye in order to really...

    Health, Exercise & Wellness

1.5 month in, 2 sessions missed due to illness. I am not so high on it, but I am looking at it like work, something I just gotta do. I also feel guilty in advance for missing a session so I always make that extra effort to wake up at 5 AM and still go. I go to the gym at 7, train until 8, then...

    Kineta - UTE009 [Ute.Rec]

I like everything but the A1 track.

    L.S.G. - Netherworld [1996]

That simple loop does it all for me to be honest. Instantly recognizable and never repeated again. It's also very strange how the climax is less energetic than the intro. All the mixes posted here are absolutely amazing. I have to say that I think Oliver Prime's remix is the weakest of the...

Desiderio - Starlight (Original, AvB & Ferry Corsten Remixes) [2000]

Yeah loving the mood in Ferry's remix. Very energetic too. The other two mixes are not for me.

    Chakra & Edi Mis - X-File '99 (Armin & DJ Johan's Cyber Mix) (1999)

Loving it! It's moving a bit towards what was the future back then; this style was only coming up, wasn't it?

Chakra – I Am (Original and Nick Muir & John Digweed Remix) (1996)

Digweed & Muir's Bedrock Mix is absolutely brilliant. It's incredibly colourful, just listen to these sounds. So much potential for something to be out of key or to clash with the other elements, but everything fits together.

OUT Paul Denton - Ocean Of Time [FSOE]

I can admit that I don't like it, but I also don't hear any appeal.

    What's on your mind today?

My dad is putting him to sleep this week, and due to work I'm not home. He's old, blind, deaf and very weak. On his last legs, basically. Still wags his tail but he's probably in a lot of pain and fear. This year has so far been both catastrophically bad and absolutely amazing for me.

Today... I have pet my dog for the last time.

    Getting Better

Yea if you can get a better result, why not? And why would you think that their time spent was valuable and lost? Is anyone in a hurry? Does everyone need to push out tracks all the time? There's a balance between being unproductively obsessive and plain lazy. Pros/cons for both approaches of...

    Getting Better

This was actually productive for me but in a wild way - I usually got excited at producing a track like that that I was motivated enough to sit through the usual sample/preset digging. I'd usually end up with something completely different than I initially set out for, but still enjoyed the end...
