My ToTY 2005 and top 5 all time favorite vocal trance tracks. I felt this was very forward and different from the typical uplifting vocal trance tracks at the time. Has crazy listenability/playability, never got sick of it. Love this track even to this day it still gives me chills.

It's the original for me all the way although the Dogzilla remix is supurb. And speaking of vocals on a trance tracks, the vocal and instrumental are a perfect harmony on this track!

This uplifting, euphoric instrumental literally gave me chills when I heard it back in 2014. I still think its one of the greatest tracks from the modern Era of trance and is for sure in my top 10.

Maybe not the original but the antillas remix is a perfect fit for vocals, the antillas dub is kinda weird w/o it.

Ha, it's funny you mention Live Another Life. That's the one and only track that comes to mind when vocals were added to a trance track that i thought were truly awful and didn't fit the instrumental one bit!

2nd track from Lostly i'm posting. This is one of those tracks i didn't really care for at first then it grew on me to the point of loving it. It defintely has those mid 2000s dark techy trance sounds..i'm thinking Dogzilla, something like that.

way ahead of you buddy, i tried. I found one "Original" search on youtube but it seemed like just a shorter cut of the solarstone remix. I don't think i ever heard the original version but i doubt the original version sounds exactly the same as the solarstone remix but shorter.

When Lostly came out with his album, No Direction Home. I thought to myself, yes, this guy gets it, this is it. Finally the late 90s into mid 00s sound in the modern area of trance. There are some really great tracks on this album and ill post 3 of my favorites. This is #1 for me on the album.

Had to do my #2 all timer after Symbols. This is the definite of pure bliss and euphoria. Beautiful summertime track. Melodic trance at its finest.

I may have been overstating it a little bit. Tracks like Symbols, Lucid, The World Doesn't Know, Under The Sun, My Religion, North Pole, Sahara etc are certainly much better. I'd say it at least holds up to that time period of music but maybe not the best of the best. I was pretty surprised...
