Arnej had like 20+ 8 Wonders tracks ready a few years ago, I guess this is one of them....very nice tech edged production with oldschool melody, but overally, its like so so...quite good, not breathtaking :)

Odd reintroduction of the kick from the break, like little or no build up snare or FX. Need to hear a cleaner version, I hear white noise creeping in via the layers of the synth. Might just be my ears.

Thankfully not a steroid transgression from 8 wonders.

Well, that will never happen, Arnej did the biggest rant in 2018 against steroid trance. He hates it as much as Daysleeper do :)

Its a positive for sure but the structure with the synth build to climax feels too flat. I'm not moved by the melody either. I'll hold out full judgement until I've heard a longer version.

I actually like it! There are lots of cool sounds, the style is great (hearing lots of Push/Active Sight influences)... Generally, I think it's pretty good.

But it's not without its faults. There's the issue of that sudden and unexpected transition to climax which doesn't work, and the mid/high oversaturation, which to me doesn't sound like regular radio compression or a bad set rip. The melody isn't amazing but works for me within the style.

Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives for me here, and I'm looking forward to judging this once the entire track is out.

You guys are nuts!

Sudden transitions without snares or hyperfast kick transitions rules. Is it too sudden maybe? Maybe. I dont see why it doesnt work here. I really dont. Its pretty seamless to me. The track sample is very lofi though, so its hard to judge. It sounds a bit too much M.I.K.E.

Im pretty sure the full track will only be like 6.40 max, and it will be much cleaner and the modern percussion sounds will bother me. So far I can say the music doesn't really interest me here.

Yes, maybe in Ladyblue. But here it just seems off for some reason - to me, at least.

Its a positive for sure that there isn't none the of the current phat snare builds or pitch FXs here, but the energy didn't translate in the transition for me.

Overall I'm not sold on this either.

I like it! The transition after the break sounds good to me. Definitely better than overdoing it with snares like a lot of tracks do.

You're comparing it to an extreme, of course it's better, everything is better than that.

Sounds a bit noisy, but I'm guessing that's just the ASOT compressing.

Arnej is a great producer, with crisp 'n clear productions. So I'm confident the actual track will sound great.

I don't mind the short break.

I think that was a conscious decision by the producer to make the track less predictable.
It's not a bug, it's a feature @Gagi. I agree with @Daysleeper.

The sudden climax might be the Asot edit, happens a lot that Armin edits the tracks to fit like 40 tracks in a show :)

Awesome, this actually sounds like 2003-2007 trance. Sounds like M.I.K.E a lot.
Didn't expect to hear smth similar in ASOT radioshow these days (y)
