A Trance Hall of Fame, only 20 make the cut. Who makes it in? Who is the GOAT?

Always the same biased copy pastę thoughts/answers from everyone. Sigh. Some better than others though 😏
The task here is to write the best of the bests, not underrated producers....so it is what it is then...

GOAT for me is Airwave. I know he never had the epic label, radioshow or compilation (neither did Ferry really), but he has the most incredible range of productions and commitment in the scene, despite all that. He never had the huge fame but still feels like he gave everything and he never sold out! Never! He is the true Trance Warrior.

Oakie also has to be in there. Him and Tall Paul were the ones who put Trance on the map to begin with. He connected the US scenes and the European scenes and changed everything.

Sven Vath

How much Trance did this dude actually make? I never listened to anything beyond the 1992 Accident In Paradise album, which I liked about 50% of it. He abandoned the scene quite quickly didnt he, def one of the 'Ferry Corsten Killed Trance' crew.

Maybe this was his biggest Trance hit:

Metal Master - Spectrum

Ofc. there was alot of more.. Barbarella, Astral Pilot etc.

his quote from recent years:

People are getting a wrong interpretation of what trance music is all about. Actually I think I play trance. I honestly do…

There was also a interview with thim, that he was shocked when he heard Paul Van Dyk at some festival, because he would not say that what Paul was playing its Trance music at all.
