This remix has made the well-known piece "Sun In Your Eyes" into a track that progressive house lovers can enjoy and dance to. It's nothing more, but it's enough.
The original version is so characteristic and phenomenal (for this track it's the melody), that any adaptation has to face a dilemma. Either to significantly change the elements and how the track progresses, with a high probability of ending up much worse than the original, or to add the bits conservatively to the track, while preserving the way it goes, which ended up being similar to (and unable to essentially outpower) the original.
For "Sun In Your Eyes", the latter one is much easier. All producers kept with the scheme. Among these remixers, Daniel Kandi, Spencer Brown and Marsh here has never left the theme of the original. Sunny Lax added a 2.0 part. William Orbit has more interpretations. So, when comparing with the different versions, as long as the production quality goes well, what we are comparing is the style of the producers, and it's more or less a matter of personal tastes.
It's good enough for me to listen to a new interpretation of the famous track, and there is of no need to require the track to have anything much more interesting than the original. And Marsh did well enough to preserve the atmosphere of the original.
My favorite remix of this track is William Orbit's, since I think his version does have *something* different and better than the original, and also I'm not the greatest fan of Sunny Lax's 2.0 or Daniel Kandi's uplifting productions.
