Ha! Yeah, that would be a bit f’ed. Chicane is one of my heroes too. I still remember when I first heard ‘offshore’. He played at my uni in the second year, I melted.
What synth did you guys make those plucks on?

korg polysix (vst version unfortunatly, would love a hardware one but alas)

That sound in offshore he uses (when everything else has developed or just about to) , it’s a kinda pad / lead but it sounds like a beautiful insect buzzing… which one might think wouldn’t sound nice but it’s simply gorgeous …. Not sure how he made it but that sound when I first heard the track mid 90s absolutely took me.

Amazing point in trance history that track.
