Thanks bud, that’s about the most thorough and constructive critique I’ve had on this trackJust getting round to listen.
Takes time to build and the main melody is lovely. So simple but so effective. Feels oldschool in spirit to me, I rate it. Overal, think its a good track.
I will say your kicks and hats are one thing I will often react to when listening to your stuff. It feels too prominent to my ears, with kick borderline plasticky. Hats are maybe too pronounced as well. It not bad per se, but I wouldn't call it pleasant because its almost too clean and perfect and obvious. When I listen to old stuff its sometimes feels like the kick is an extension of the bassline, like they are the same thing. The actual rhythms you make with the percs are great great though. When all the elements come together, for example climax, its less noticeable, but still
