I waited a long time for this moment, I thought that our next talent has burned out. But it is with very interesting material though, lately my taste for the sounds of nature in your performance are great. I am waiting for more. construction and drop play the way I like. good luck

Definitely will be supporting this. Something More from Aerium, although it’s the Solarstone retouch, it’s still sitting comfortably as one of my top 3 tunes this year.

Beautiful. Inspiring and a great thing for TF recordings.

Yes i feel a lot of natural sounds may be in this. I keep getting a BOC ( boards of canada) feel with the style of the vocal samples or spoken word at the end of the preview. BOC are one of my fave ambient groups.

Its lovely to the the label releasing an album. So good you have chosen the tf label to release it theough. I imagine youve been working on the album songs a while Aerium?

Can’t wait till the album is out.
Great conept and title for an album.

@jetflag Do you have a paracosm ?
Id like to produce an album called Synesthesia.

When i hear sounds, especially in electronic music it creates images colours and patterns in my mind / perception/consciousness ( what ever that space is where interesting things are formed).

Individual sounds and waveforms have shapes, different filter settings etc. A decent filter sweep on a pad for example is rather a beautiful image depending on the pad sound. Lead sounds in electronic music usually create a very clear and sometimes striking shape.

I try to avoid listening to what i can’t describe any better than Sh?T EDM. Those noises in those Harsh pointless tracks with zero useful emotion look like something from a war zone to me.

Im expecting some beautiful images from your paracosm.

Anyone else have synesthesia? I only realized i had it a few years ago. Didn’t think it was anything special.
Ha! When i told my sister she said. Are you on Acid? 🙈. She’s actually very intelligent but just a touch narrow minded! Her son ( my nephew) interestingly has perfect pitch. Amazed when he showed me. He thinks thats nothing. His art is breathtaking. He’s not interested in it tho. We believe he’s autistic like my step son. Such wonderful kids.

Oh I have multiple. The album takes snippets from different ones actually, though truthfully not all tracks on the album are a direct result or translation of them.

Russkoye Leto for instance is, as an exception to the rule, a love-letter to my wife. She as herself is not directly part of any full-fledged paracosm I’ve written down or have in the back of my mind, though she does contribute.

I'd love to experience synaesthesia as I hear its quite the phenomenon. Unfortunately I don't have that particular genetic advantage/disposition. Which is in part why I translate music, sounds but also other experiences into less abstract dream-imagery and eventually full paracosms in my mind, as opposed to directly experiencing colours, patterns etc.

I have this tiny book in which I write/draw a lot of what I see when listening to stuff down, including things like what I can remember from say: dreams. They're a neat source of inspiration especially when it comes to sound-(or for that matter, world) building for me.

Brilliant, that sounds really goid. I still question my synesthesia as i see it as so normal and nothing special but sometimes i say to a friend etc, so whats that sound look like to you. They don’t understand so i guess i have it. S

I don’t have a paracosm tho but that sounds like a secret world type thing.

earlier i thought of doing a concept album about synesthesia. Perhaps the sounds in the song will match the title. The title describes the colour and pattern the main sound creates. But well, might be a flop.

When is paracosm out?

I'm aware it likely doesn't make sense, but I'd love to buy this album on a CD 😀

That preview was just half of the tracks, right?
It sounds so soothing, this kind of Trance, these days. Priceless.

Wow this sounds great. The first one could be stunning and the last breakbeat one also sounds very nice guys. Any tracks releasing before the album launch on the 1st?

Great topic! synesthesia itself is a very interesting phenomenon for me. I try to focus on the emotions and character of the sound. It is difficult to describe it in terms of sound, although I think it is achievable without the use of clichéd hooks. on the other hand, to include a color in a piece is a kind of abstraction for me, although it seems that I can judge more or less what color the piece has, but will it make sense? . however, I envy these chosen ones

Really liking the samples, especially the blissful vibes of Eudaimonia and the early 2000s Progressive Trance groove of Himelfjoer. Will suport this too upon getting my paycheck. (y)
