It's strange knowing this track is already 8 years old.
Airwave had already developed his dark progressive "Middle Eastern" sound with Atlas Winds, but shortly after he released Cathedrals of Hope. The latter feels melancholic in the classical Airwave style, and frankly it's one of the most memorable tracks from him from the last decade.

This and Pop and the Cat's Adventure and Atlas WInds (The Original Mix not the album mix) are all future trance classics.

The scene has really hurt him a lot. He has a lot of bad things happen to him and a lot of assholes screwing him over this includes Markus Schulz.

Such a lovely, smooth melodic production. I wish Airwave produced more.

Nice one, I remember also loving his track Romeo And Juliet with Nico Parisi which came out in the same year

What did Markus Schulz do to him? Great track btw!
Promised him something only to turn around and change his mind and sound to screw Airwave and take all of the credit. Listen to not the same thats made by Airwave listen to the melody as rendezvous under the alias Dj fire. The same thing with Joof false promises of bringing back Trance only to take 180 degree turn on the genre that brought him success.
