First one sounds interesting, the others are way too slow and non-melodic...not my style

Then and Now 2021 is clearly an older track, from when Airwave had HUGE EQ problems. 10000 % lows.

Then and Now, on first listen, is nothing special and a bit slow, but I love the way it comes and goes. Still, could've been 9 minutes long, as there isn't much after that. The other two tracks just don't excite me.

As a huge fan of Laurent, I feel a bit sad that a lot of his new tracks don't really resonate with me.

I wanted to listen a few times before commenting, considering the respect and back catalogue of one of my fav producers. I just found it difficult to be interested in these tracks. Flat tyre for me!

 

[Progrez]

The last track sounds good in terms of productions but it's flat there is no journey. Sorry Laurent. I hope he is feeling awesome.

 

[Propeller]

IMO a really solid EP from L-Vee. There is considerable variety in the sound of the three tracks. Each offers something different, e.g. the driving bassline in GOPA, the journey in Then and Now and the catchiness of you are loved.

There is a melodic component in all three, it's just subtle. And the production quality is top notch. I really like the percs and the effects.

Yes they are what some would call 'slow' but the label is Bonzai Progressive so he's gone for that sound on this release.

Its back to the dark days of "trance" almost "trouse" textbook formualic slow plod. It sounds like its made by an amateurs first release with modern software. And I dont write that to be rude, it just does!

Not a terribly exciting e.p. for me personally. I do like the overall feel and direction of Good Old Pal Anxiety, maybe it would've worked better for me if the track was way faster and had a more driving drum pattern, I don't know. Otherwise it just feels like regular prog.

If these tracks are released in 2009 on a digital progtech label nobody would care. Why then now? And why are they made by Airwave? Pointless.
