So last week I saw the ASOT tracklist, and saw "Alesso & Armin van Buuren" having a track. So I feared another crappy "collab".

But I was wrong. This tune is actually very nice to listen to. The vocals aren't very prominent, just flowing in the track nicely. A good melody around it. Quite trancey. Would enjoy it a lot if Armin played such a track early in his sets. It's more mature than say the "W&W-style-bigroom" he usually plays in the beginning.

Ner. Sorry. Too commercial for me. Vocals are a bad fit. There is no big room sounds here for which my ears appreciate.

Yeah it's trancy but it's absolutely unspectacular in every way. The vocals don't fit that well, the instrumental itself is average, the melody lazy and uninspired. I don't really care about hearing trance from him anymore, and I actually like some of his pop works. I want to hear good music, something that makes me feel something, at least cheerful and positive like some of his pop songs do. With these type of tracks, he compromises too much. His 2010-2012 modern vocal trance style was good and more balanced.

It's mediocre at best, yet still a lot better than the rest of his stuff in the past 5 years. Not liked a tune by Armin since Safe Inside You.

Can hear some of The Legacy by Push in that melody.

Of all his club mixes of his recent poppish tunes with male vocals, I think this is one of the best. Still quite average, but at least enjoyable to me.
