I would like to share with you a brand new track from a 16-years old producer from Poland - recently played by Solarstone on Pure Trance Radio.

You may know Aquarius from this thread by @Electronlyman about Kuba's remix of Jean-Michel Jarre's "Aero": Jean Michel Jarre - Aero (Aquarius Remix) [not on label]

This time, I have a new solo track from Kuba, supported by Solarstone on his last Pure Trance Radio show. The track is still unsigned... :)

Edit: I'm glad to say that Sunrise and Aero (cover of Jean-Michel Jarre) will be released on September 12th on Pure Trance ⭐

Tbh it's default sounding. Sounds like everything from that zero three label. In other words: boring.

Nice ideas but does feel a bit basic with the production and boring with the execution, yes. Melody is nice. Needs a lot more.

More layers are needed to make this tune truly engaging. It just plays on the safe side. Simple and basic, which makes it uninteresting in general.

I actually love the simplicity and the pluck sound (y) very well done, less is more.

I'm a big fan of JMJ, who's probably the biggest inspiration for my own music.
Still, in this case, I prefer this cover of Aero over the original.
To make things clear, it's very very rare for me, to prefer a cover or remix over Jean Michel's original work.

It is stunning! The way that pluck is piercing through...
It goes right through my soul.

Big credits to JMJ, without whom we'd never get to hear this lovely cover!

Sunrise sounds very soothing, it has depth without using so many layers, nice example that less can be more.
It reminds me of the kind of vibes, I've heard In Michael Cassette's Kilimanjaro, from their Temporarity album.
It's a pretty chill and feel good tune, one of my favourite 'summervibe' tracks this year :)

By the way, what a mature sound for his age.
There's hope for this new generation!

Lovely release! Always been a fan of the original Jarre track. The melody is the same-ish, maybe with a little harmony key change. Sunrise is already known track, very nice chilled proggy track.

8/10

There is Bucketloads of talent here. Id heard of Kuba but not his music.
Perhaps it shouldn’t be shocking that he’s 16 but nonetheless it is. I immediately thought of the producer Madis who is I believe very inspired by JMJ style for his tunes and uses mostly loads of hardware synths and makes great ‘ 🧠 journey music ’. - Just like Kuba I suspect.

He's very inspired by Eric Prydz as well, that's probably a big reason why he went up the Prog House, Trance road.
I find it funny this track was produced without him even knowing of Solarstone, Pure Trance's existence back then.
It fits to PT like a glove, right?!

Eric Pridz, that doesn’t surprise me. I would think certain Deadmau5 tracks too. Polaris for example. ( One of my go to electronic tracks) but a few others on the more deep and beatiful
melodic vibe too.

JMJ’s music was the first instrumental electronica (album wise) i ever heard around 8 years old. Equinox and Oxygene. I sometimes think with out those works, Trance music as a genre would possibly not exist in the same form.

I haven’t actually heard a whole load of the Pure trance stuff (I am definitely going to correct this blasphemy though after reading and hearing things on Trancefix) Seems like it’s developed quite a lot from the first few complications ( unless i just appreciate that smooth style more now a days) The talent associated with it is really inspiring.

I agree. JMJ has surely had a massive impact on how Trance sounds today, the creation of it and many other Electronic styles.
He's one of the Gods of Electronic music, as is Kraftwerk and TG. Oxygene is for me one of the most important albums, one that has influenced my listening and producing tastes heavily (especially Oxygene Part IV and II). Have many of his albums on CD, also all of Madis's albums so far :)

Deadmau5 made a huge impact on the scene, at the beginning of this century. His 'sunny' plucks and rhythms went around the world like a shock wave, setting the standard for most producers, especially in the Progressive House genre. Eric Prydz's famous 'Pryda Snare' has had a similar impact.

Personally I'm more of a Prydz fan than Deadmau5. The Cirez D tracks are amazing to workout to! Always providing me high motivation.

As of Pure Trance, I suggest you could try Pure Trance V8, mixed by Solarstone and Activa.
It's a mature sounding and well balanced compilation mix. Has a nice melodic ambient feel to it.

Cool I will definitely check pure trance 8. I have so many old cd trance compilations. ASOT , ISOS, some lesser known underground stuff and some big Euphoria etc ones too. I don’t have a cd player anymore. Im going to buy one though. A small one to link up to my bedroom speakers ( which are interestingly powered studio monitors because my current studio is v small and monitors wont fit) Just got to get back some of my old cd’s stored in my parents loft !) Can’t wait. Inspiration maximum me thinks!
