Nothing from 76 either (I don't count Communication), which I count as one of the best trance albums. As for post-2005 stuff, I can say Rush Hour if you want strictly trance. But ultimately, as the years go on the style gets more and more different from what you included in the mix. No more "classic" stuff, but good stuff regardless. He made a couple of great tracks pre-'00, and not just Communication and Blue Fear. Some proper 90s stuff. This was my tribute mix to him, nothing after 2005 i think - kind of makes my point. Cant really think many more artists where all their best stuff was so early - unless they retired haha! I suppose 'Stardust' with JMJ wasnt bad,but im really struggling to think of anything after 2005. Those artist albums people mentioned that came later, they went way too 'poppy' and steered away from proper Trance.
This one reminds me of Gouryella too much to be honest.Denzil & Dwayne - Force Of Habit (Armin van Buuren Remix)

Yeah not saying anything bad about the mix, but there's just so much stuff and even in somewhat different styles that you really have lots to choose from. My Armin tribute mix would be a day long haha. That's what happens when you discover a genre through an artist.I think i wouldve included a couple more '76' tracks if i did it again - but again thats tracks from way back then. But from 98 to the early 2000's Armin was creating some really great 'Trancy' tracks - that 'Appears' remix being a prime example...just pure entrancing stuff, quite simple productions - its just my taste i guess. I feel he lost than Trancy feel years later and went more into vocal stuff - but i guess his rise in fame and the ASOT shows had a lot to do with that. I preferred him just making tracks in his bedroom studio on Logic hehe.
I preferred the stuff Armin thought about in his brain before he actually started producing.
