Well, seems like Armin decided to release a new track every week in these times. Not only this but his new collab with Avira and Push are on the way.
This sounds to me quite like expected, anthem-like melody, mid tempo, and style-wise its like some Gaia tunes :)
Overally pretty solid production, the melody could have a better chord progression, but still, its pretty good...

Ah, I don't know what to say about this. I loved Rank 1's clean and crisp sound from the past ~10 years, but this one isn't on that same level. I love that additional pad melody (!) and I appreciate the style very much, but yeah, the main melody just isn't quite there yet (and goes quite overboard in its progression). As a result, this feels kinda forced.

Still, I would say a step in the right direction for Armin, style-wise and regarding trance.

Agree with @Gagi . In addition, I don't know if the pace lacks a little or the kick doesn't lift this enough for me. Crisp being the word and unpolished.

Good to see Rank 1 back too

Its pretty boring to be honest. Not a bad effort, but not feeling this at all.

Probably a full track (uploaded by some bloke) that was forcefully removed. I'll update the OP with an official ASOT rip.

It's out now BTW, I've added the Beatport link as well.

Something about this track doesn't feel right but I can't put my finger on it, I don't know.

The accentuated clap ruins the flow and energy for me when its coming in during the takeoff. Overall not too bad i guess. It has that typicl asot festival melody.

This really is a great track.

I would like to see those Hollywood drum samples removed though. But oh well. Great pads, good melody.

Almost reminds me a little bit of Opus 17, when the melody changes around 3:40...

Will have to let the tune sink in for a bit the upcoming days and weeks. But right now, I can't name an Armin tune I'd put above this one, that got released after Tuvan.

I can name like 10 off the top of my head, probably a lot more. Plus a couple from Rank 1 as well.

Tuvan is from 2009. We've got the entire Mirage and Intense albums to work with.

Mirage
I Don't Own You
Take a Moment
Orbion
Virtual Friend
Beautiful Life

From Rank 1,

Elements of Nature
7 Instead of 8

Now, for the track of this thread specifically:
I think this would sound brutal on a festival. The melody is too damn long, though, and only the beginning part is interesting. The climax has way too many wasted, uninspired, uninteresting sections.
