I was actually glad about the things he "ranted" about few years back. I did not actually see that as a rant. He was just honest about the scene. And I do not see anything wrong with the latest post either.

He has not produced anything noteworthy in recent times, but damn he had some good tunes around 2007-2010. I am glad if there will be new releases from him, as he definitely has the talent. The scene needs as much diversity as possible and I hope he can bring something different to the table. Trance is probably at its lamest point at the moment.

Mediocre producer, not even his classic tracks are good. Only good production was his remix of Zonderland in 2004.

Haha. I dont score any points on the hipster test if you go through the points on wikipedia atleast. Ive nenver dressed, owned or had any opinons they express there.

I like pop-music, Ive never had a full beard, never had a hipster bike. I dont like stuff just because they are original or obscure etc.

The closest I would admit is maybe a music-snob but i dont consider classical music being supperior to other music and stuff like that.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't overlook him, he's had a couple of great releases in the modern trance age. The song above is a great example of him at his best. I heard The Strings That Bind Us from him first and I was really impressed by it.

There Are No Coincidences (Original Mix) is also absolutely fantastic for me. Very euphoric track imo, and my emotions always explode at 4:50!

Many of his tracks have won the test of time, I still listen to them and exist to my recent playlists sometimes.

Arnej 2008-2011 was borderline unstoppable. I remember hunting for all of his releases when I was in high school/early college. Each of his releases were so well made, fresh, and exciting to listen to. 2012 is when he started to run out of steam. I feel like he tried to embrace too many big room/trouse elements that ultimately made me lose interest.

I also agree @aSeb , I was glad he ranted about the scene back then. It was nice to see someone saying what we were thinking.

My problem with Arnej's productions is that they sound exactly like how you would expect Armind, circa 2008-2010 to sound. That's the melancholic, deeply melodic, technological sound that just isn't what I like in trance. There's a lot of the deadmau5 sound as well.

I’d be lying if I told you that you won’t know what to expect from this one, but I think you will know... August 8th
