I'm guessing Insomnia crosses some lines between house and trance. Definitely not out of place on a trance party. Great track anyway :)

Another great one that's in a similar 'in between' genre: Salva Mea.

Well Trance is a form of House anyway hehe - but if it has big appegiatted melody in then of course it should be in the Trance genre. Its like Beatport now - their 'Techno' was actually called Tech Trance back in the late 90's.

Even some classic songs like Luminary – Amsterdam (Smith & Pledger Remix) he play new version with that weird loud hammering kick, nothing for me.

In the top 25 i'd choose "For An Angel", despite that many think it might be boring or overplayed or simple, it isnt really. Listen to the whole track lenght! Its pretty well composed/arranged and layered. Wonder if its the album version or the e-werk mix the included.

It was the e-werk mix which is the definitive version. Its strange seeing this so far up but other classics are so low...

Well... Suburban Train is based on Kid Vicious track... but seen as one of the best...?

So I don't see why it's bad that it's based on The Sonnet...
Hot take. I've never heard The Sonnet.
Suburban Train is one of the best because it is basically immaculate. It's crafted very well, even though the original is from Kid Vicious, and even though it was actually made by ghost producers.
Anahera is different from this scenario because it does not upgrade the late '90s/early 2000s System F/Gouryella sound. Not only that, but Anaheim obviously panders to nostalgia rather than sounding like a modern trance track.
I think Anahera is okay, but I would never put it on the same tier as Suburban Train. It brings nothing new. Rather than feeling innovative/crisp, it feels stale. That's not the case with Suburban Train.

Really? What genre?
I think Ishkur or some other people had Insomnia listed as "epic house," but that sub-genre is so niche and overlaps enough with trance that it's basically just trance

For a rough top 10, I would have something along the lines of...

L.S.G. - Netherworld (album mix, not vinyl cut)
Union Jack - Two Full Moons and a Trout (Caspar Pound Mix)
Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar (Three 'N' One mix)
Tiesto - Suburban Train (yes, I know about Kid Vicious, fite me!)
Push - Strange World (2000 remake)
Astral Projection - Dancing Galaxy
Transa - Supernova
Infected Mushroom - The Shen
Chi A.D. - Biocandy

Only 9 hahaha and then it goes downhill from there

Edit: added 9th track

I like the E-Werk mix, but it feels too serious and common compared to the original mix. The original version from 1994 feels unique and playful/carefree, which I prefer to hear even though it may have a less impressive kick and bassline. Also, the snare is just iconic.

I'm doing my own Trance top 1000 tracks of all time.

Not in any particular order but making mixes of each 250 in one "season".

Just finished the 3rd season out of 4..
