Lovely! I like how the downbeat of the melody isn't where I expected it to be; that's a nice trick I've heard done a few times. I'm almost hearing shades of 2014-2020 Will Atkinson in this; I can imagine him doing a remix in that style.

Common misunderstanding for a big name like Armin, when the truth is they have been studiopartners and worked 50/50.
If you for example watch his masterclass from 2018 you'll see it quite differently.

have to agree after all, it sounds more like a cheap parody of a classic trance in every way you can think of - sound design, melodies, overall composition. by far the worst of new Benno productions

Yeah, unfortunately the full version lacks depth to be interesting. Sounds more like an unfinished demo to me.

The melody is quite weak - for me,Rank 1 was all about those big supersaws in the main melody - this track needs something like that. I agree with the comments about the production sounding quite 'thin' and soul-less.....surely Benno still has access to all his really old projects? He could go back and base tracks on that great sound - unless hes lost it all....i know it would all be 'hardware' based,so maybe thats an issue.
