as someone who's a big fan of said pluck productions i love the ideas you have going on. hope to hear more from you in the future.


only point of improvement from my end would be to work out a couple more details /richness in some of the sounds. but thats also largely down to taste

Even the AI stuff I made sounds better and that got ignored by Rich.

It sounds too polished with the kick drum which is why I didn't like Amber at all and most of Steve's recent productions are missing the warmth that his older tracks had they sound way too polished, digital where the kick drum lacks depth. This track sounds very amateurish the pluck melodies need a lot of work and need more depth in the melody and some actual emotion. Not saying there isn't but the melody sound like 1 or 1.5 notes and that's it repeated in a off beat.

Firstly, maybe trance isn't for you? Secondly, having known Rich and maintained a solid friendship since 1992 when we first bonded as the only synth players in a massively guitar-driven indie scene, the second half of this sentence is categorically what we Brits call 'an absolute load of bollocks'

Don't know mate. To me I don't like the melody it seems to be nothing more than 1 or 2 notes not structured well. He does have the bassline executed well during the intro but I much prefer the bassline how trance sounded like back in the 90's and 2000's. They sound too beefy to me nowadays.

It was a tongue in a cheek moment of me sending it to Rich and getting rejected.

Anyway, I would love to hear more summery tracks like this just hear the melody after 6:16 just wish there was a dub mix.

One of the most unique sounding releases on Pure Trance.

Love the push like kick (Absolute - New Horizons) with threeseekers like sound design and eq. Love all those mini melodies. Definitely a journey type track and upon first listen I was like this sounds very close to Solarstone esque sound so I knew its a proper 'traditional pure trance' type of release. 9/10.

More like this please.

My thoughts too. Some parts I really love, like the pluck melody and it has a nice clean Amber feel. But some other synths and sounds have a below standard production feel. It at least tries to do something a little more interesting than a typical track on this label.

A very unique track. Production really needs refinement, but what this track conveys is definitely worth a listen. Clear and bright, just as the track name suggests.
