Legendary Boards Of Canada duo came back today with a new album after 13 years (since „Tomorrow’s Harvest”).

I truly believe that discussion about this release deserves for an individual thread 👍

How long are you into BOC’s music? Can you solve the mysteries through their new album? Does it mean something more for you (as I see many comments of people that it’s something bigger for them, it’s touching for sure).

Seeing "Inferno" on Trancefix is just incredible. I think it’s not even related to 4/4 dance music. After listening to the two advance tracks, I pre-ordered the CD with @Sean Cong without hesitation. Today it’s finally out, and I spent half the morning listening to it. I feel it’s one of the best electronic releases of the year, though it’s still not as good as "Geogaddi".
It explores western theology, sin, and redemption. The rhythms have a witchy, sticky viscosity, and maybe even incorporate elements of psychedelic rock (not sure). This makes fully grasping the album's meaning a bit difficult. I'll give it more listens. BTW, I especially enjoy those ambient tracks.
