You are told that you have to live the rest of your life on a deserted island. They tell you that you can bring 100 songs and 100 songs only. This will be all the music you will have for the rest of your life.

Post a song that would be on that list. It doesnt have to be the best one, it just have to be a song that definetly would be on that list. You can make several posts but dont make a huge list and post all the 100 all at once.

Any genres of music is allowed.

Me i will start with this one, released back in 1995 by Finitribe. So slow paced but yet very trancey. I could not live the rest of my life without hearing it again.

Vanderson - Invisible Contact

One of these lovely hypnotic, journey albums from the Underground EL music scene.
This track vibes the most with me, although it's hard to pick a favourite from this great album.
All about that magic journey, it's one of these I always keep coming back to.

It can be purchased on CD here: Vanderson - Beyond Time Structure

I'd totally make space for Humate - Love Stimulation (PvD Love Club mix).

Cool track @Bluemoon

Probably something that I havnt heard. Posting a track that I have on repeat at home somehow feels very boring and it actually holds me back posting a track like Sunny Lax - P.U.M.A. or whatever.

Good point. You would want to split between tracks you love and hear all the time, and tracks you know are phenomenal but maybe don't hear often.

@Daysleeper If a song is too boring to post then maybe you can question if you should even bring it to the deserted island.

Maybe the topic of my thread was a bit poorly written.

I would assume that for most people their top 100 (its a silly term) is everchanging. Atleast for me personally there is only a very few songs that i can listen to 1 million times without be bored.

My top 100 from 10 years ago would be full of songs i barely can listen to today. Not because i dont rate them anymore but just because i listened to them too much. Now i define them as a classic, i will listen to them from time to time but they are not on my top 100 radar anymore. They are not my go to for musical stimuli. When you listened to a song xxx amount of times it becomes too much predictable for your brain and it dont stimulate the feelings it once used to. It triggers nostalgia instead.

Atleast thats how it is for me, most of the songs that is in my ''top 100'' is problably songs i have discovered within the last 2-3 years, or songs that i didnt listen to that much back in the days that is simply just better to my ears after my musical taste changed as i grew older.

So in a way, even the analogy of bringing songs to a deserted island for the rest of your life is a bit silly as well. But hey, post some songs that are special for you, not necessarily the best of all time, but what is best for you right now.
