I didn’t know that we have no thread about this remix so… let’s go ;)

Played in November 2025 on ASOT and… no more informations :( Sasha is still playing this in his sets… my guess it that he’s trying to get permission from Brian and Black Hole to release his remix on his own Last Night On Earth imprint (like he did a few times before, like with Rufus Du Sol - Innerbloom).

Your thoughts? :)

EDIT: Release comes on Black Hole in July 👍

Liking that riff! Creative, but definitely not needed.

Original mix ftw he completely stripped it off the wonderful percussions and slowed it down too much and removed the rhythm and groove of the track.

All I know is I saw Sasha Howells Zabiela & Pappa last night in melbourne and although not the cleanest Sasha was in smasha mode and was my personal fave of the night (im a trance head though - Howells was probably superior tbh). Hes back up to and over 130bpm boys we are so back

Got to agree with the negatives here, I was expecting more. There is nothing here that would make me play it over the sublime original. Production is a bit rough too, the vox comes in super sudden and loud in the break and the quantisation is it bit loose for my tastes in places; but I freely admit to being a bit of a bellend about quantisation.
The original of this though….. I mean 🤯. I was 16 when I bought ‘Movement in Still Life’ having loved ‘ESCM’ and ‘IMA’.
The vocal pitch bend thing at the time was just mind boggling
