Do you have or "own" a cat/dog or other fantastic creatures ? If so, what is it? A cat, a dog or maybe you have magic abilities and was successful in turning a common house fly into your ever-following-do-as-you-say-master "pet"? if so, this is the thread for you. I'll start. I own a cat, or rather, he owns me .. help.. anyway here is a picture of my fluffy friend. His name is Linus :geek:

wow such a wonderful dog you have there my friend. Beautiful! Aww yes 11 years is old indeed. Just remember the old days. Will you ever get a new dog when he is.. well.. eugh i try not to say it since it is painful but still .. pets are more than just 'pets' imo. if you lose one you will always remember it. Hope he stays healthy and will be with you for some time yet. Love from me and rub pet your dog for me will you? Thanks for sharing this Gagi, appreciate it. I've been thinking about it for a long time and I don't think I'll get any other. It's overwhelming just thinking about his death, I don't need to be reminded of how everything dies every 10 years or so.

I absolutely understand. It is just not "just a dog", it is a part of your family, almost like another person, a friend. damn it is sad to think about though :( but he is healthy right? he might live longer than you think actually. Dogs, or pets in general are special imo. you love them just as any other person. or maybe that is just me but still. Again thank you for sharing your story :)

Massive love for the dog man! I do prefer them to people at times
Haha they are a bit like small children at times; simple emotions that you can manage quite easily with a little bit attention and/or food. They really don't ask for much and are happy with pretty much anything, especially the retrievers.

This guy will join our family at the end of the month. Can't wait! We're excited about the new addition.
We also have a two-year-old Border Collie who is currently struggling with some skin issues. In anticipation of our new kitten's arrival, I'm looking forward to buy apoquel online canada . While I'm not certain if skin issues are contagious between pets, I believe it's better to be safe than sorry

It's been almost a year and a half since we put our dog to sleep. I've said I couldn't go through that ever again. Even before he was put to sleep, just knowing his health is deteriorating and that we're gonna have to put him out of his misery at some point would hurt. And then when it was decided, and the time until it happened, it was hell. I was only able to go home and visit once every couple of weeks, and every time it seemed like this was the time I'm saying goodbye. Truly made my heart break. And then when it happened, it was even worse.

But fall asleep he did, peacefully, and we buried him at this favourite spot, in the backyard of the house we don't live in, but visited often, where he could roam around freely and be a happy dog.

It's been almost a year and a half since we put our dog to sleep. And more and more I've been thinking about getting a new one.

And I even might get a dog at some point. I want one which requires that both of us be active, but can be lazy when needed. I know it's not gonna happen soon - my apartment owner doesn't allow animals, and city life is hard on me, let alone on dogs. So right now I'm just thinking about it.

I'd honestly love getting a Malinois, a Dutch or German Shepherd (or a mix), but I feel that they would be a bit too much to handle. That's the kind of dog I'd love - I love the way they look, and I know they could go hiking with me. On the other hand, I also don't think I'm experienced enough to handle them, and I don't think I'd be able to keep them busy enough...
