The next one from Borderline. Releases September 30. I like the breakdown a lot.

Tthe mmleody just works here, and the key changes are effective and makes you wanna listen to it a second time. Its just a little thin in how it comes forth.

Hoooowever, i find it a bit to kick-heavy (and boring bassline, stock-sounding hats and snare) still and its just tiresome with another track that relies so heavily on the kick as the driving force. And as ive said so many times the rhythms are too static and most modern tracks need to stop putting every other element on-beat. I want a richer variation of rhythms that dance around each other.

Its also a little sad that every release sounds like activa co-produced it. :/

Hehe yes every release does sound like an 'vs activa' track, doesn't it? I don't mind too much as I like his sound, but would be nice for more variation in the label output. This one feels like the most banging one yet and that's cool. It's a nice track on first listen.

Boom the bass and kick is super charged on this one. Nice melody and vocal combination

I dont mind this sounds like an Activa production, i wish most tracks did. Great track, looking forward to hear the full version

Tight and banging, well produced as every track of Borderline. Don't mind the sound of Activa btw

Yeh, struggling to feel connected to this. The break is nice but drive and transitions don't carry.

So much potential, but unfortunaly and I say unfortunaly in dissapointment. Its too beefed up, but after awhile i was thinking meh the kick/bassline kinda blends in ok anyways, but im torned. I kept waiting for something else to take the track away from or turn left/right from the pluck mleody (which i really love) and key change is great, but it needs some additional directions to be a little more intersting. A more eloborate/thoughtful intro/outro would have been nice aswell. Cant help but thinking that the supposed climax/last part which is the esact same as in the build is boring. I think producers needs to get away from this three part block structure of the track where the kick-bassline just jumps on right away and from there on I knew exactly how it would progress. It was so obvious, and then you have a break with some extra stuff added, then it just drops into the exact same progression of sounds as in the build and just fades out and thats it.

Good track, could have been better. I mean its bad promotion to release a 4 min version of the track and then when the 7 something min track comes out theres nothing else to discover from it, but i guess its just a dj-tool.

Im pretty sure Activa will rework every track slightly with his tight perc and loops...it does sound like it. Something that PvD used to do with the POD albums.

Another hot one on Borderline, the label has really raised their standard with the last few releases. This is quite repetitive but works really well musically. Melody is nice and catchy without being cheesy and is supplemented well by the cool ethnic vocal. Fantastic breakdown too. Tracks like this, although sounding simple, actually require a lot of thought and are quite rare nowadays.

Quality stuff again from the best label in the scene right now. Breakdown is really top, which it went on longer.
