well you know...he does cool things with rockets etc.

for my part its probably also that I have a weakspot for two things.

1 epic self sacrifice acts: (honestly, I still nearly cry when that hillbilly pilot kamikazes those aliens in Independence Day, or when Kevin Kostner drops himself in The Guardian)

2 Rebels against (well-settled) establishments. Hence Tommy/Musk (we'll c how he pops out under and post the Trump admin though)

its part of the reason why I have a softspot for Alexandria Ocasia Cortez, even if I think she's a moron.

This is why Elon is dangerous at times. He either hasn't bothered properly looking into who Robinson is and is taking him at face value, or he is knowingly supporting a multi-convicted con-man, racist, grifting piece-of-shit on his platform.

Incompetent politicians, Tory and Labour alike mind you, who wanted anything bút Brexit, and did nothing but suck up to the EU post-hoc. and basically " followed along" with a brexit-in-name-only ...are the reason the UK is going to the dogs.

And anyone doubting that can consider the following:

Much of the rest of Europe, especially those countries firmly embedded in the EU, like mine....would not be facing the exáct same set of problems under alleged "competent" EU leadership who's cancerous bureaucratic brainfart boomer ideology cannot tell a goat from a sheep... Had Brexit truly been the sole-cause.

- An ungoing declining coin/economy,
- defacto forced obedience to foreign laws brought to dictat via massive democratic deficit.
- broken welfare/ housing systems
- uncontrollable borders

But you're wrong. I am for starters not an easily impressionable person who "gets suckered in" by personalities or the group for that matter. Its part of why i'm always butting heads with everyone around here on all sorts of topics.. I just think he's more right then wrong on most issues (though not every) , and I just don't care about the rest of his autist-caracter personality that much..same with Trump.

he's no longer on your team

I do think the sentiment of tribal-shift is something going on in the larger overall scheme of things concerning musk, not you personally per-se. But It’s definitely something I’ve noticed with both my more left uni-friends and more conservative folks from my home village for instance

world-view and the story we tell ourselves is from a human standpoint seen imo an important part of our overall condition and so when that gets shaken, it does often breed resentment.
