Coredata returns, and this time with the wonderful Wander album. A firm nod to the classic Platipus sound. Groovy 303 lines provide a funky affair and it's imbued together with wild goa-esq synths, gorgeous atmospheres, and a feral undertone that is unmistakably unique.

Wander through the dreamscape of Coredata.

Listened to this when commuting to work today. First impressions are good, sounds very platipus-like as others have been mentioning, but also with a modern twist to it. Will give it a few more goes on a proper set of monitors.

This is my favourite track of the album. Stands apart from the rest with its lush instrumentation. The other tracks are decent but not too memorable. Although individually the tracks are solid, i suppose as an album it sounds a bit samey. The warehouse 91 mix of wander is a cool breakbeat track too.

I have listened to this around 5 times now with the headphones, it is amazing. So so good. One of my favourite albums of modern times a real nod to the platipus/berry sound. The production is a joy to my ears and the banging parts really get my bass face going.

@Gagi you listened?

Been putting it off (that and the Slam Duck album). Maybe today or next week.

This is incredible. Reminds me of Art Of Trance.

Coredata mentions this on his youtube release.

Anyone who knows me as a musician knows of my deep love for Platipus records. Listening to Art of Trance - Wildlife On One for the first time in my loft was a life-changing moment. I hope when people listen to my music, they understand that I'm absorbing that glorious Platipus sound and creating my own voice through its uniqueness, much like 60s/70s bands did with the blues, and house music did with disco.

He did a great job with capturing it in his own way

This is more more platipus sounding then platipus themselves today. Fucking quality album. Such a shame no one else is making music like this.
