First of all, not surprising it's not for them. Not the style they play, or at least not the style their fans expect them to play. And also what the label boss said just above.

Second of all, the release is pretty good. I think I enjoyed some of Forescape releases a bit more, but you can't deny the quality of these two remixes.

You know what makes me upset most of all? The main reason why I started my label back in 2016 was that awesome music from less known producers was completely overlooked by DJs. I wanted to do my very best to deliver it to the key players as I know how many days and weeks guys like YAMS and Cosmithex spend to make these brilliant tracks. Recently I started thinking that I can't do what I wanted in the beginning and more and more producers which music I love and you guys here love too just stopped making it. I don't care about the income at all, I spend more than I get from label. But I really care that great music is overlooked because DJs have lost their root instincts to find and play that real gem that nobody have found before them.

There are handful of DJs who still dig into Beatport and promos in their mailbox to find those rare gems, like John 00 Fleming and Thomas Datt for example. But for 90% of them It's just about the business these days. I can understand this strategy from some point.

Yeah John has always been great at that, didnt realise Datt as the same. Rich/Solarstone is also I'd say pretty good at giving unknown names a slot in the progressive half of his show.

After listening to Alfredo Calderini Remix' in full it actually became my favourite. More of him on your label, please!

Edit: Okay, after listening to YAMS Remix' in full I don't know... I'm a mess!

The quality of this release is stunning. I really like both mixes, but the YAMS remix is something different. No words.

Melodic progressive psytrance. It's really good, but I can see why it wasn't picked up by DJs since it doesn't fit into any of the typical genre "buckets." Armin/Ruben, Mark Sherry, and Daniel Kandi don't support this style, and they largely ignored the progressive psytrance movement from the early 2010s. On the other hand, it sounds like a shoo-in for JOOF.
If you want to collaborate with other trance producers, I think Magnus would be a good bet.

Great work, and I hope you can get the recognition for your talent.

Nobody cares about my opinion (and I swear a lot), so here's a recipe for a simple yellow fruit cake instead.

Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 300g of white sugar
- 200g of plain yoghurt
- 200 ml of vegetable oil
- 270g of flour
- 5g of baking powder
- 500g of fruit (berries are preffered)
- powdered sugar for dusting

Recipe:
1. Separate 5 eggs and whisk the egg whites until a hard peak forms. Gradually add sugar, and mix for a minute more.
2. Gently mix in the egg yolks, and gradually add the rest of the ingredients (apart from the fruit), gently mixing them as well.
3. Grease a large baking pan with vegetable oil, and add a bit of flour on top.
4. Pour the batter into the pan, then add fruit. Gently press the berries with a tooth pick.
5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, and as soon as you put in the pan, decrease it to 180 degrees.
6. The cake takes around 40 minutes to make. It should brown on the outside and separate from the edges of the pan. A toothpick inserted into the thickest part of the cake should come out clean.
7. Once the cake has fully cooled down, dust with powdered sugar, cut and serve.

Enjoy!

This is what i hate about the scene today...if you made a top quality Progressive Trance record in 99/2000,it would get noticed,be picked up by a decent label and probably get on few compilation CDs in the shops,it would leave a legacy and maybe have classic status...nowadays you just get drowned out by the sheer amount of releases, maybe not get any DJ support, and youre track will be forgotten by many in months. Its how it is these days and how do you turn it around...

The Alfredo Calderini remix is sounding as classy as it can get
Both are on a very high level! Kudos to both producers!

I think this would fit in Pure Trance and would be surprised if Solarstone answered "this is not my thing".
Agreed the YAMS remix is one of the best or maybe the best track of the year, quality trance that we don't see too much at this times.

The overall sound is good/authentic sounding but to me these just lack muscially/structurally.

The dont go anywhere :( Theres no intersting elements that stick out, boring progression (sorry). Its to obvious when I follow along to these tracks.

Great trance is when you know when to add new elements, but also when to remove them. Just checkout Oliver Prime - Radiance. Its not this textbook how to-build-your-trance-track which I especially find the Alfredo mix be. Its TOO obvious, too predictible. Great trance shouldnt be predictible. It should be a rollercoaster, not a climb.

I even find the Hutan track to have a bit of these qualites but not like Radiance.
