Something that I put together for the 'Keep Me Believing' remix competition a few months back. However, I only found out about the comp about 3 days before the deadline and never managed to finish this on time. šŸ˜
I finally got around to finishing this off a few weeks back for a mix set and thought I'd put it online to see what people think.

It's still very melodic and commercial like the original, but is slowed down to a groovier 130bpm.

Let me know what you think! šŸ˜š

Nice, punchy production, style which you could hear back on ASOT in '12 and '13, just as I was discovering trance. I would've maybe looked into making the strings a bit more expressive and maybe slightly richer (with maybe a layer of nice, subtle atmospheric/shimmering pads on top). The vocals are a bit too processed for my liking, but with the way they are I don't think they would've worked if they were drier. The hats are slightly bothering me (white noise), and that main lead sound doesn't sound well-EQd to my ears. It has a tone that annoys me a bit, so I would've looked into that.

Feedback aside, this is still a nice track, one I would've really enjoyed years ago, but you've made better. Don't take that as a criticism though, just my taste.

Not my kind of Trance as feels too happy-go-lucky with the melody in full flow and too straight forward/standard structure, which is just boring to me now after all these years listening to Trance. That said I think the production sounds nice, I like this tempo and at the start it had my attention with the sweeping synth element and a nice baseline. It builds nicely actually. The end part too is something I can enjoy (7mins onwards). The hats probably a little white noisey but not a deal breaker for me. Main lead also too clean/flat to me, but only just. Has a good level of professional. Could be a great style to hear from you if things were more serious/deep/flowing/mystical...
