It’s our 20th anniversary year at Anjunabeats and we’ve been inviting some old pals over for the party. Russia’s Ilnaz Tarkhanov, better known to many as Cramp, has added some polish to his 2011 progressive smash, ‘RU116’.
The original, which featured on the Anjunabeats Volume 9 compilation, was debuted during Above & Beyond’s now legendary A State of Trance 500 set in Den Bosch, The Netherlands.
‘RU116’ set our Anjunabeats messageboard ablaze, with fans scouring the web for the identity of its creator.
As part of our 20 Years celebrations, we asked Cramp if he could update ‘RU116’ for modern club systems. Fans will have heard this 2020 update in Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 400 celebrations, recorded on the River Thames, London last September.
