First time i heard it was in the Republic Sheffield @gatecrasher.....it was the final tune of the night and as the slow down part of the track commenced the night was over (or so i thought) then it kicked in again....oooooffffff. one of my absolute faves and totally cherish my vinyl copy.

UBI Fat Tyre mix is so good. Has a certain feel of supreme quality you don't hear in many trance records. Now I've done a bit of research - Crazy Malamute were DJ Dag and Non-Eric. Both well known in the German trance scene of the 90s. U.B.I. were Peter Zweier and Cet Merlin. Zweier was one half of production team behind Culture Beat, a pop dance act who started in 1989 and in 1993 produced Mr Vain, one of the biggest Euro dance songs of the 90s. Merlin also co-founded a major label. So when you consider that it was some of the major players of the German trance scene, those who were there from the beginning, who were involved in the production of this track, it's no surprise it's turned out so well.

Had the pleasure of seeing DJ Dag live one time.
I love older German Trance, it's what got me into Trance music.

The raw, harder edge to it just vibes with me
