It’s good but if I’m honest the first listen didn’t grab me like in the way old tracks do, and that’s the same story over and over again I find. The production doesn’t sound as warm or inviting, it’s as simple as that to me. Even if the idea of the track is strong like here, the modern way of doing production it misses something.

I love the track man. What is next in store for us with your music?
I don't want to take away the fire and buzz from this one, as we really need to give it our all... however, I have a Heart Activation Remix coming out on FSOE in June. That will be next. It's definitely quite different from this one, but it feels just as amazing and it will trigger something in the heart of everyone that listens and connects.

Once again thank you so much to all nice comments and to any constructive feedback received for my label.

The track is now officially out on Beatport, any support to the artists/us would be absolutely great, especially for a very little label like mine with zero or very little backup support from Top DJs.

Please help them and me going on with my music project and get your copy via this link:
Dragons Tear REMIXED from Landscapes Music on Beatport

Thank you everyone (just noticed the Track of the Week mention too!) 🙏 🙏

Hi guys!

I very much appreciate your enthusiasm for this remix, which was something very special to create on my end.

We all know what the industry is like... there really isn't much money for us artists in the current state of the trance world, but that doesn't mean that your continued support doesn't mean anything. Your support actually IS EVERYTHING!

I would kindly ask everyone that loves this kind of music, to show your support and spend a couple of bucks on Beatport. It will mean the world to me to see this track climbing the charts, especially without the support of the bigger guys.

The only way we change the current state of trance music, is together! I can do my very best in tapping into multidimensional frequencies and then turning them into 10 minutes journeys, but it's up to you guys to step in and also support this kind of music. Without your help nothing will change, and we will continue to get the same old boring template shit that's been a problem in the scene for far too long now. Together we can make a difference.

Thank you, and I love you all! <3
For sure!

Just wanted to say...

That 4 minute long demo doesn't even show a fraction of what the whole track has to offer.
I was blown away, when I listened to the entire 9+ minute production!

This one really is something special !

Speaking of that, I've just finished writing my review of it :)

Thank you Landscapes Music for bringing
Thomas Datt back to the Trance scene ! ❤

Well, what can I say..... thank you so much for writing such an incredible review!!
It gives me so much pleasure and joy to see how these artists are getting the right credits, which is definitely one of the most important goals of my label.

For those who have missed it, please check out the nice chat we had about this release and much more. It's on FB and IG:

Holy fucking unholy shit, absolutely love how this evolves. And the attention to detail as well. It's so well-produced! Not a single bar felt like it was too much. See it's got over 30 replies here, and no wonder! One of the better tracks this year I feel.

There are a couple of suggestions though, some things I felt could have improved this track. These do not take away from how good the track is, just something I had on my mind while I was listening. I know you can't change anything, but let's say this is for future reference, if you find it valid of course.

Something I wanted to hear is some variation and experimentation with cymbals/hats. Nothing exotic, just a break from the regular patterns. Maybe the same for the bassline. It sort of works (though not sure in the climax), but looking at it from a producer's POV, I really don't have an idea about how I would approach it any differently. And maybe that lead in the climax is a bit too sharp and loud, although I think it actually fits. Maybe some creative filtering would've taken it to another level.

Awesome review!

Finally had a read on the computer. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with everyone what your experience was like with this track.

It definitely resonates because most of the time I'm off in space when I write music, meaning I tap into something that's otherworldly, and then bring it back down here in the form of music.

Incredible trance tune! Superb sounds, melody, effects, sound quality/mastering and in general a dreamer track for me. Like a big journey, something we have missed after 2010 a bit. Voted on Top tracks of the year and supported on beatport. And if it wasn't for my man Simon O'Shine, I would vote this as #1.
