Love all the Hook stuff and State of Mind one of my all time favs but I agree with Tranceblaster, this is a similar sound to today.

Not sure when I got my copy of Revolver but have always loved this tune. Been so long since I listened to it though, but might be up there as an all time favourite. Something about it reminds me just a touch of 808 State - Pacific State.

Never heard Evolver, it's nice. Curious @TRANCEBLASTER do you feel that the great modern underground stuff we love is achieving the same level of sound design as these?

Curious @TRANCEBLASTER do you feel that the great modern underground stuff we love is achieving the same level of sound design as these?

I have heard many dj sets this summer at opein airs, and today's djs love to mix some modern stuff (think of 'Spacelab', 'Harmony Rec.', 'UTE' stuff) with old less known tracks (think of 'Oliver Lieb's' side projects or 'X-Dream') and it fits very well.. 'Evolver' would fit into these sets .. to your question, modern productions definitely sounds bigger on a massive soundsystem
