After huge first release "The Gate" with Andre Maier, Definitions (aka John Dopping) returns on Borderline. This time a big collaboration track with Alan Ruddick. Enjoy!

Just took a listen to the whole 7 mins and I didnt found it interesting, engaging nor emotive. It feels very stock/block building and generic. The melodies feels robotic and basic to me. Its a "background" trance track basically.

"Sounding nice" doesnt say anything..

Thanks for bumping this. I didn't like it on first listen but now its really grown on me. Works well as an overall package, has a pretty solid vibe.

Production is nice and clean, while the melody is not my cup of pee this time, it has that dramatic feel to it, which I dont like in trance music.
Hard to rate this, probably something in between 6 and 7 :)

I’ve liked it a little more after giving it a few more chances but It does come across unimaginative and too robotic. The rhythmic feel is OK and the main melody ok too. Probably a pass, just about.

I’m on the fence, but definitely one of the less memorable ones from the label this year. Which is surprising because the previous Definitions release is one of my favorites
