Thanks to the Youtube algorithm for informing me that scene legends Der Dritter Raum have released a new album (last week). I've only had time to listen to a couple of tracks between meetings, but sounds like it could be good and some will enjoy here.

The sound isn't that bad. I certainly wouldn't say plastic, but I understand what you are getting at.

I don't disagree with the comments about sound design. It's not terrible at all, but not nice either, even though some sound choices are cool and beyond the norm of today. It's kind of a shame because they released a track in 2013 called Kristall which is one of my favorite modern tracks. It's so nice and atmospheric and trancey. For some reason I can't find it online at all now, might have to upload to youtube.
