This remix was a reinvention. Impeccable. Van Bellen’s best remix will always be of ‘I know you love me too’, but this is No.2. Always makes me think of Sasha’s GU. I love the Lange remix too of course.

only few people know the original version, which was released on 'Planet Love Records' back in 1997. it was a relatively minor club hit in Germany, and caught the attention of someone at 'Overdose', who wanted to release it on their own label.. since the original was a bit dated by then, 'Torsten Stenzel' created a new, updated version as 'Suspicious Remix,' which became a massive hit. 'EMI Music' then showed interest in this version and asked the producers for a vocal version, which later catapulted the track to the top of the commercial charts. since the 'Van Bellen Remix' includes a vocal sample, I assume it was released only after the commercial vocal version started charting.. this remix actually sounds more like 'Deep House' than 'Progressive Trance' to me.)

Was there ever an instrumental of the Van Bellen Remix? I adored his remix of Velvet Girl - Velvet as well.

No instrumental mix by van Bellen only by the original cover.

Heavenly. It's tracks like this that make me feel that sound design is more important than anything else in a track, even more than the track idea itself. If you pull this one apart its so simple, with very basic structure and journey, and minimal amounts of elements used. But everything is so delightful to the ears and well balanced that you could listen to a 20 min version and enjoy it. Still refuse to believe that anything but hardware can create sounds like this, and thats why the prog of today is always a step down.
