This one is a new find of mine and after listening to it fully, it went straight into my playlist. It's a deep and progressive 12-minute journey, in the veins of such classics as Li Kwan - Point Zero, Unreal - After Hours, and The Source Experience - The Source Experience. However, this one is an amalgamation of many more genres, including the likes of breakbeat, hardcore, techno, goa (to name a few), and, obviously, trance. The definite emotional highpoint of the tune comes sometime after the 9-minute mark which gave me goosebumps, but to experience the full journey-like qualities and hypnotic power of this beauty, you need to listen to it from the start – even if admittedly the first few minutes are not really trancey and may not be that captivating for some.
EDIT:
"Side A has no break inbetween tracks. Total running time on side A is 11:48 minutes."
So basically, the first half of this 12 minutes is I'm So High, while the second is I'm So High (Ubud Mix). That would explain why the second half is so trancey, while the first is not really. But interestingly, they form a consistent whole, so I can't really pinpoint where the second mix starts. It would be cool to see an individual release of the second part/mix though.
