What would happen if dark drum & bass/neurofunk producers made trance? Turtle Beach is the result.
You can tell there's a strong focus on bass and sound design. This track is highly dynamic, as expected from early-2000s trance, and melodic in a way similar to Octagen & Arizona.

A really interesting track from the early ASOT days. It has that classic Dutch sound which they completely nailed despite not being part of the trance scene. The melody has a really good flow to it. It's also at a whopping 145bpm!
