Absolutely adore this one. A stupidly simple melody, but it works so well. Shows that sound design is just as important. He got help from a known producer (can't remember who) on this one as well, as I think it was his first release.

The remixes, although not even in the same league as the original, were fantastic as well. Probspot and Exertion did one each, and I prefer the Exertion one to the Probspot remix.

I'm going to do something, which is considered illegal in at least 92 countries: I'm agreeing with Matrixmorpheus

Edit: Well, half-agree as in I prefer the Probspot remix but I don't deal in absolutes like Siths

Rico Soarez raped <333 it's like he crafted his own style and produced great tracks under it (similar to Andrew Bennett)
i prefer much more such way of producing rather than "trying different styles" and doing dogshit. because some humans/producers are just about "one thing" the rest will be mediocre.

The Probspot remix and the original mix have different purposes, but I think the Probspot is a better progressive trance track than the original is an uplifting track. Probspot is also closer to old trance with that classic 2-step rhythm.
If you prefer your trance without bells and whistles (which is a valid perspective), then you might prefer the Probspot remix.

Interesting to see so many preferring the PS remix. I just played both of them after another. Still preferring the original.

There's just more to discover in it and does conveys the emotions better somehow + a much more unique bassline. I find the probspot remix a bit underwhleming and standard in how its executed. It sounds a bit standard schulz prog. However it does really shine in the takeoff, and its got a better "bounce" to it, but other than that its a little too repetitiv and "standard" in its structure. There's more to discover in the original imo, which to me translate to a better listening experience.

btw, the oringal isnt uplifting or trying to be uplifting.

Just for the emotional content the original can't be beat. Happy-sad and reminiscent, definitely not uplifting. The headphones is where it's at its best. One of the best trance tracks from 2004. And that's saying a lot.

Possibly Robert Nickson?
Both of them used to post a fair bit on the Producers Forum on Tranceaddict back in the day (and Nickson remixed his other release 'Kallocain' )
I know they were both using Reason at the time to produce as well.

It's a great tune. Probspot mix is a real gem as well!

I find it hard to choose between the two mixes, as the Probspot one is what I heard first and was played more at the time. The Original remix is probably slightly better, more nuanced.
